NS: Marvel officially confirms that 'death'

After it was leaked Marvel has gone public with an official press release on the character who will die in the next issue of Amazing Spider-Man.

It's Kamala Khan. She will likely be back in time for her upcoming movie (which is, coincidentally, co-written by Zeb Wells). People are guessing that she will be resurrected as a mutant on Krakoa given that Marvel doesn't want anything to do with the Inhumans anymore and she's a mutant in the MCU complete with the X-Men theme song.

There was literally almost no groundwork laid for it, she appeared on like a handful of pages of this run, if that.

Groundwork? Across 25 issues she’s had maybe ten lines, and a good bit of her tie-in for Dark Web ironically enough kept asking why the heck she was even there.
