Gabby is in a pickle! A FUTURE pickle. As you can tell from the cover, horrible spider-beasts are ravaging the surface of the planet.
Unfortunately, technology for time travel is limited to viewing precisely 40 years before the machine is switched on. Gabby continues to be confused: if they haven't witnessed the event, how do they know she, specifically, caused it?
Further conversation is curtailed by...machine-gun fire.
Reunited, and protected from the ghosts by the spectral Dante Howitzer and other ghosts who knew about the ranch when they died, our heroes attempt to escape. Unfortunately, monsters and the Horned Man block the road, but still can't get into the house.
The hired hands, Big Mike and Garth, return to ask what is up.
