scans_dailyFor both Autobots and Decepticons, appearing in Octobers relaunch of the Transformers franchise from Skybound as they launch....
First up, the good guys...
Optimus, Wheeljack, Arcee, Ratchet (Looking unusually happy) and Cliffjumper.
And for the bad guys
Skywarp, Starscream, Laserbeak, Soundwave and Rumble.
Since this seems to suggest there might be other titles, in "The Energon Universe", I won't dunk on this too much but it does seem a rather... bland assortment to launch with.
Standard G1 1980's Autobot choices, albeit with Cliffjumper instead of Bumblebee.
The Decepticon line up is also comeplte 1980s G1 and amounts to two Seekers, Soundwave and a couple of cassettes (and not even Ravage!)?
I mean, as a starter set there's nothing wrong with it, perfectly cromulent teams, and perhaps the plot will have the teams expand (And perhaps add a little more variety) but as reveals go, it's not something I look at and go "Oooooohh!! MUST read this" (I mean, I probably WILL anyway, but...)
So, what do yo think?
