Deadman explains to Sandman, that he is still connected to Insomnia and can see his nightmares of his past .










The scene ends with Deadman in shock that the Arkham doctors sedate him after he freaks out. And also wonders why Insomnia was always put into a somewhat endless state of sleep.

Insomnia then sends his “Night Terrors” to go after Deadnan and Sandman.

Dee's looking awfully...healthy here. I thought he was a mess due to not being able to dream for the longest time.

I agree with Deadman - it's shocking that Arkham doctors would sedate a violent, hair-trigger lunatic who casually snaps people's necks. That seems entirely too sensible for Arkham Asylum.

Now, I know Dark Crisis wasn't good, but murdering everyone in arm's reach seems like a bit of an overreaction regardless.

I think he's surprised that the guy is CONSTANTLY sedated. That's what the orderly meant by "awake day".

Look, I'm sure there are excellent medical reasons they keep him in near-constant sedation. The staff of Arkham Asylum are highly-trained, fully competent professionals who would never... nope, couldn't say it with a straight face.
