In an act of brutal self-sacrifice, Insomnia killed himself to gain possession of the Nightmare Stone to make his personification permanent in the real world.




Insomnia is ultimately defeated by an attack from Deadman and Sandman's use of the Dream Stone. Which Deadman sacrifice himself to send Insomnia spirit to the afterlife.


Insomnia ends up in a personal hell, with everything seems normal. Until his family start turning into zombies and start eating him
Alive. Deadman possibly in heaven.




In the aftermath of this event . Batman is in a coma, since Deadman over possession of Bruce strain exhausted his body physical limits. The general public are starting to have mistrust misgivings towards Superheroes.
