God, I miss Daredevil being FUN. Even if, and I'm guessing entirely on the hat here, Foggy had cancer at the time.

Yes, Foggy did have cancer at the time. Naturally, he was miraculously cured at the end of the run.

How many issues in a row can you get away with Matt telling lies and then getting beaten up?
Does making him the constant butt of the joke sell?

Man, I really loved Waid’s Daredevil run. Bringing him back to something like a pre-Miller version after so many years of writers making Matt’s life absolute shit one after the other was a fresh breath of air.
