I guess that random woman snooping on Johnny and Spidey's conversation in the previous issue did have a pay-off.

Thankfully, the wedding goes off without a hitch. The Puppet Master was there to cause trouble, but he eventually had a change of heart.

Given that Robbie had just said "I respect your desire to maintain a degree of privacy - and I don't want to violate that privacy" AFTER putting the news on the front page without warning Johnny or Alicia, I'm surprised he doesn't need a neck brace from the whiplash.

Yeah, this is not exactly Robbie's best moment.

(Maybe prolonged exposure to ol' J.J.'s own brand of 'logic' has had an effect on him.

Or that Parker kid. He looks like a wrong 'un.)

His hair is kind of off-model (It's usually all gray/white, not merely graying at the temples) so either this is an imposter/variant, or he briefly tried a dye that gave off the bad fumes.

Flowers IMMEDIATELY begin to fall apart. Ah, Doom. Don't ever change. I wonder if he knew THE HORRIBLE TRUTH. Or the slightly surprising truth, to be more accurate.

He'd carefully misted them with weedkiller before they even left the florist.

That being said, I so like the idea of Doom calling a truce, not out of respect for Johnny, but for Alicia, whose work he has admired.

It's hard to not admire her work. She makes life-like statues and can't even see her subject models. Even Doom has to tip his non-existent hat to that.

Also, she managed to sculpt a life-size statue of the Hulk out of adamantium.

I can’t remember if Alicia ever sculpted a statue of Doom, but if so, Doom probably appreciated how well she captured Doom’s innate nobility and grandeur. And Doom displays it in his castle…

If only she would consent to being Latveria’s official royal sculptor and leave that cursed Richards.

I'm sure I saw an issue of Marvels that showed a statue of Doom that Alicia sculpted.

I feel like there was definitely a thing where he either hired or kidnapped her and was then kind of freaked out by how she described his face.

I took the flowers to be the ones Doom was cultivating earlier, but on closer inspection they are a different colour. Maybe the flowers faded to white when they started to die?

Reed should have thought to put them in some kind of stasis field, sending Doom pics every day showing they're still in bloom. "And thus the sinister threat of Dr. Doom is forever neutralized."

Stasis fields can fail. Just put them on a time machine and send them on a one way trip to the end of time.

But what if one day Doom decides to randomly stop by to see how the flowers are doing in person?
