Question: Was Oliver in older stories. Alway so neglectful absence in younger Roy life? It seems that Ollie always finds ways to not have any interaction with his sidekick. Roy mostly have to fend to himself in Ollie home and arrow cave. Every time he tries to called Oliver, it goes to voice mail.

I can see why Roy has problem making friendship connections with his teammates. He is just using a psychological defense mechanism that redirects negative emotions from its original source that comes from Oliver, into other people.
