Hey, everyone, Snake Eyes is back! Snake Eyes!



This one's a funny issue, which makes it a bit hard to summarize, because the whole thing is a lark and I don't want to just describe a bunch of jokes to you secondhand. So forgive me if my recap is a bit spotty.

But essentially, Hawk and Roadblock are in Wolkekuckuckland (yes), serving as military advisers, while Snake Eyes, Flint, and Scarlett are probing the defenses of Darklonia (yup), who sell surplus military hardware to Wolk... Wolke... to WKK and buy it from the now combined forces of Destro and Cobra. That's about as simple as I can make it.



And if they explained who Darklon is, precisely, and why he's dressed like that... they didn't. So I don't know.



Meanwhile, some Joes are doing this and I guess Lady Jaye is there too. Sorry, it took me a moment with the new artist.



Hawk continues doing his thing.



"Hey, Snake Eyes, why don't you scare these guys with the gruesome scarring you received while serving your country?" Not cool, Flint.



Of course, this coincides with Destro, Fred, and Darklonia trying out their new radar-resistant hardware...







It all ends with the forces of Cobra modestly embarrassed and the Joes a bit chagrined when their bosses cut a deal with Darklonia anyway. Well, they can't all decide the fate of the world, now can they?

Darklon is Destro’s cousin and wears the mask because… *shrug* and I don’t think Hama gave a shit either…

the mask thing is because Destro and Darklon are descendants of The Man in the Iron Mask, and they wear it to honor him.

Darklon's character design is certainly... something.

I love the Vipers watching in amazement as the Camaro passes by, trying to figure out if it's shape is resistant to radar.

Also, it being a Camaro that keeps coming up is really funny in hindsight, seeing how much success Hasbro would see from that brand.
