Preach, Jolt! It’s undercut a little by Moonstone having a plan that stops him but not by much because that plan could have easily resulted in “rocks fall, everybody dies”.

Songbird doesn’t have a lot to do here but I appreciate that she’s thinking about the potential for collateral damage. Future Avenger, right there.

Not sure I love the guest star saving the day but I guess this is the first time they’ve worked alongside the larger hero community since they became fugitives.

Hawkeye reacts to Graviton’s death the same way I reacted to Hawkeye’s death in Disassembled.

Jolt wants to sleep on a feather bed.

I don’t think “you can keep my broken car” is the act of generosity Warren thinks it is…especially with the team’s resident mechanic in jail. Where are they going to find another tech guy who is an underappreciated genius that was delt a bad hand in life and wants put his villain days behind him? Well…maybe if they wait a few issues something will come up.


Not Pictured: Moonstone kisses Hawkeye (and then some). It’s a pretty transparent attempt to mess with Songbird but it sets up one of the longer relationships in the series.

Yeah, I love how Jolt is just completely over Moonstone's crap by now.

Their dynamic is one of the more interesting ones on the team. Jolt is one of the two people I think Moonstone actually might like but Karla has to be Karla and Halie can only take so much.

Plus Moonstone somehow skates through life immune from facing consequences* while the universe seems to actively hate Jolt.

*Aside from some things MUCH later.

Part of me thinks Karla sees every interaction with someone more powerful than her as a way to con them and steal their power for herself.

On the one hand, that is how she got powers in the first place and its going to work again at least once.

On the other hand, it NEVER works with Graviton.

There’s also the argument that EVERY interaction Karla has is a con but I think its more fun to watch people react to her relationships with the team as they unfold.
