Wendell would think John is rude and pushy and would tell him, nicely, to calm down a bit.

Seriously, did those two ever meet? Wasn't Gruenwald writing both of them?

We'd also get a fight because telling John to calm down would just make him angrier.

This would go on for a while, because Wendell doesn't want to hurt the guy, until whoever the C-list villain or villains of the week shows up. (The Frightful Four Minus One? Cobra and Hyde?)

They were both Avengers during Operation: Galactic Storm, but I don't think they actuaĺly interacted.

Interestingly, Gruenwald told Byrne to add them to the East and West Coast Avengers around the same time, as well.
