I never did finish the Abnett and Lanning Nova. People seemed to like my Nova posts, so I thought I might as well continue.

Any way, Rich takes on the Ego-controlled World Mind.

The original World Mind is spent, so it selects a new personality to take charge.

My dislike of the Shi’Ar is well documented, so that is one more reason why I thought I should continue. Always looking for an excuse to take a pop at the bird-jerks.

There is a lot of great stuff in this ish.
Rich's chat with constructs of Rhomann and Ko-Rel, and a great line from Ko-Rel ("I'm as mad as a bag of Badoon!")
Rich's final talk with the original Worldmind personality before it regenerates.
Can't recall if it was from this issue or not (but given the short timespan), but Rich having a learning curve between the blunter application of the Nova Force and the more creative use of the Quantum Bands.

Yep, it was his signature exclamation back in '70s that still occasionally pops up, usually in a tongue-in-cheek way. Your Sweet Christmas, Oh My Stars and Garters, Great Caesar's Ghost, etc.
