If they wanted to do another Venom series why couldn't they just do another Venom series?

Not the erasing from history thing, but telling him even Piledriver's more important.

So that's... what, three or four people who had Venom before Spidey (depending on whether you count Deadpool or not)?

Guessing Master Blood there was one of those villains who bounced around from title to title with no fixed archenemy, so there's no hero we've never heard of suddenly finding themselves with a little more free time on their hands.
(unless that's a follow up story, with an irritated Immortus just popping in to clean up another Kang mess.

A visual nod to Carnage, or given as Kang puts it, Larry's lacking the traditional Venom 'look', to Bedlam?
(I'd say both, but the lack of the eyes seems more a Bedlam nod than Carnage.)

I'm not sure Master Blood was a he. In some panels they look feminine under the getup. Perhaps Master was the first non-binary superbeing in Marvel comics we never knew because of Kang.

Well given the name "Neville", their title of "Master" and supposedly being from the 60s, took it as read they're a he, but that's a point.

I'll have to give them one thing, the idea of a guy that thinks he's a Dr. Doom but is really more of a Stiltman is rather interesting.

It's the Knull 'dragon' rather than the Parker spider.
