The Soviet Super Soldiers seek Cap’s help in granting them political asylum.

Cap gives the Super Soldiers a tour of the training compound, but the Capitalist pigdogs soon show their true colours. Or do they?

There's this issue's mandatory creepy grin.

They were Commies all along!

I think Evil Smile Captain America would have more impact if Cap hadn't fought John Walker two issues before.

But this time there's additional Evil Smile Thor and Evil Smile Vision.

I love Ursa Major. He’s a Russian werebear. That’s just awesome.

I don’t think Thor interacts with Perun nearly enough as a fellow Storm god. If indeed ever.

Is Perun an actual god though? Or is he just some guy pretending to be one?

As real a god as Thor… apparently he’s a mortal who has an amulet that lets the mythological Perun possess him.
I love it when other nationalistic teams recruit their own local gods/mythological figures…

The only times Thor has ever interacted with Perun are AFAIK:

1) When Young Thor found Perun’s blood after he was apparently killed by Gorr back in the Viking era at the very beginning of Aaron’s Thor run

2) During Aaron’s godawful Avengers run where Thor was shown fighting Perun and Chernobog for a single panel, right after Aaron decided to retcon Perun into being party to a bunch of war crimes from Russian history including the taking of Berlin during WW2 and the invasion of Afghanistan in 1980.

If only Major Ursus had known how many Americans had the same opinion of Reagan.
