The Bloodstone Hunt is no CapWolf, but it is still pretty fun.

Cap and Diamondback take a Quinjet to follow Zemo's trail.

From this point on, the issues are padded out with backup stories, so these posts are going to be quite short. Hopefully everything will still be coherent. I will leave posting the backup stories to other people if they so wish.

Man Kieron Dwyer really knew how to sketch a gorgeous Diamondback. I so loved her look in these stories.

Teenage me was keenly aware of how Diamondback's costume got strategically more tattered over the course of the story. (Cap's? Of course not.)

Teenage me was also amused that the comic allows Diamondback to flat-out objectify Steve Rogers, long before MCU Ant-Man, by commenting favorably on the commendable quality's of America's hindquarters.

Diamondback finds out that heels are not always appropriate footwear.

BTW, the language is "Quechua", not "Incan" (Cap is a bit naive assuming they may speak Portuguese), and the Incas were not into human sacrifice. That was the Aztecs.

Qhapaq hucha was what Incas called their ritual human sacrifice. Though it was mostly children that were sacrificed and only during famine or a momentous occasion like crowning of a new emperor.

So, most likely not applicable here.
