If I understand correctly (I've never read it) the Little Stooges were meant to be the sons of the Three Stooges, who all happen to look identical to their fathers and have the same personalities and even the same names. Which is just like the new Newsboy Legion in Jimmy Olsen a year earlier. I have to wonder, as I did with the Newsboy Legion, if the whole "sons" thing is a ruse and these are just clones of the original Stooges produced by the DNA Project in a stealth crossover between DC and Gold Key.

(Also, you notice how they end up scuba diving, which just happens to be the specialty of Newsboy Legion member Flippa Dippa...)
