There's only so many ways you can say everyone's being utterly idiotic, but all the same, nobody in this story's coming across great.

They'd probably have a greater success rate just piling up a bunch of junk food and hoping Zilla will eat it, then catch him when he's full and sleepy.
"Ten to twenty years of eatin' McDonalds and KFC, and we'll have that slippery sonuvagun!"
