Or maybe it was just trying to help him.

No matter how low DC's Catman may fall, he can at least take solace he will never be as much of a loser as Cat-Man.

(Bit weird, only being familiar with these guys from that run-in with the All-New X-Men, where Frog-Man got all bent up over Nightcrawler calling him a frog, despite... well...
Guess he got over it?)

... you know how sometimes a memorable run on a comic starts by having to deal with the status quo it's been handed before it can become its own thing?
Next issue is the Michelinie / Layton run.
