And one of the things I put was "No Wonder Girls." Because I wanted this to be a very Wonder Woman-focused book. I thought sometimes her title had wandered from making her the title character, and I wanted every line pointing to her. I just saw the fans’ reaction and how much they wanted these characters to be in this book, and they wanted to see these relationships. And sometimes even a writer as arrogant, as stupid as me can admit that they made an error in their bible. I was like: “Oh, you know what? Why am I swimming against the tide?” My job as a comic-book writer is not to deny joy. -- Tom King

I don't tend to associate Tom King with joy, but I'm glad he saw fit to incorporate Diana's extended family in her war against the Old Evil Guy with the Magic Hate Rope. There's a time for solo, and there's a time to bring in your allies. Clark knows this. Bruce learns this lesson every year like clockwork.

I'm a little confused. Whose narration was that?

And whose side is Cheetah on?

Narration is being provided by Sovereign, the big bad. He's telling the story to Trinity, Diana's daughter, but under what context we don't know yet.

And Cheetah is, surprisingly, on Diana's side. They duked it out earlier but they're cool now

" fans’ reaction " makes me wonder if the arc being titled " Fury " is a response to the complaint that Lizzie/Trinity wasn't a version of Lyta Trevor.

"No Wonder Girls" is a wild take when they have been the highlight of this run.

But I generally find Wonder Woman's partners more interesting than the title character. Same with the Auqafam.
