Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat among yourselves.
The intent of these posts is to chat and have some fun and, sure, vent a little as required. Reasoned debate is fine, as always, but if you have to ask if something is going over the line, think carefully before posting please.
Normal board rules about conduct and behaviour still apply, of course.
It's been suggested that, if discussing spoilers for recent media events, it might be advisable to consider using the rot13 method to prevent other members seeing spoilers in passing.
The world situation is the world situation. If you're following the news, you know it as much as I do, if you're not, then there are better sources than me. But please, no doomscrolling, for your own sake.
And that applies to me too, so there's a lot of stuff going on out there I could cover, but once I started I wouldn't know where to stop and that would not end well for anyone. So might I suggest this instead.
Watched "Alien: Romulus", and you know you're getting old when the cast of an Alien movie appear to be teenagers, even when they're not.
The next season of Doctor Who is apparently due to start on April 12th, though there has been much furore in the press about whether Ncuti Gatwa has "quit" or not, and indeed whether then show will continue... Same as it evr was, just louder, I guess.
Lots of media snippets about upcomng DC movies and series, enough that it may be worth a post of it's own.
