Barbed wire is a nice touch. It kind of inspires more of a WW1 feel than WW2 though.

Is this an anthology or is he going to meet Wolverine next issue?

It's one of 'those' miniseries, where the cover of the first issue is the one intended for the TPB, but the whole team likely won't be together until near the end. Issue 2 has them encounter Wolverine, and issue 3 Bucky.
