The intent of these posts is to chat and have some fun and, sure, vent a little as required. Reasoned debate is fine, as always, but if you have to ask if something is going over the line, think carefully before posting please.
Normal board rules about conduct and behaviour still apply, of course.
It's been suggested that, if discussing spoilers for recent media events, it might be advisable to consider using the rot13 method to prevent other members seeing spoilers in passing.
The world situation is the world situation. If you're following the news, you know it as much as I do, if you're not, then there are better sources than me. But please, no doomscrolling, for your own sake.
Mention has to be made of the remarkable incompetence of the current White House who accidentally added the editor of The Atlantic in a group chat about actual military attack strategies, whilst also being... very very 47th POTUS in their comments about allies.
In happier news, a new Trailer for Doctor Who has dropped which does look very promising.
I've kept forgetting to mention this video for a sort of anti-anime "Pretty Pretty Please - I Don't Want to Be a Magical Girl", which is AMAZING!
Randomly happened upon Spellbound on Netflix, a John Lasseter animation, with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater (who also wrote Galavant's songs between them). I know it got some mixed reviews, but so far I'm enjoying it, with The Way It Was Before being a lovely song with vocals by Rachel Zegler (Currently maybe not doing her career too much good with "Snow White"), and the enormously fun I Could Get Used to This with vocals by John Lithgow (Currently maybe not doing his career too much good with "Harry Potter").
