I didn't know Gar's greenness was originally limited to his head. And that he kept his hair. And could turn into things like a gorilla-lamia, though that last one honestly fits for a Doom Patrol member.

Wow, the 60s sure didn't skip out on nightmare fuel with Gar, did they?

I love that comic formulas are so rigid that the green skinned Gar has to wear a mask, lol

Wow, I think I've only seen this in black & white print before. I had no idea his coloration was so different back in the early days. Fascinating to see how that's evolved over time!
