If anyone seeing these stories for the first time here is puzzled by that "The Real Big Barda" title, it's there because Kirby was briefly using chapter titles in his stories. This one doesn't have any particular significance to the plot. Which is something that always puzzled me in this case:

The previous issue ended with a blurb reading: "Without his mask, we can all recognize Mister Miracle as Scott Free - ! But --- who is the Real Big Barda!! Don't miss the next exciting issue!!!"

A reader would naturally expect a Barda-centric story, presumably one that revealed something previously unknown about her. Maybe a story of her Apokolips childhood? We'll never know, because this issue arrived with a not especially Barda-focused story, and only this chapter title seemingly squeezed in to justify the blurb from the previous issue. I've never seen any info about what Kirby originally intended or why it changed. Kirby could be mercurial about his plans and rethink a story at short notice. But also, a hypothetical Barda story would have involved Apokolips and the Fourth World mythos, and that was something Kirby was supposed to keep out of MM while it was trying to be more like a superhero book. So did he change his mind, or was his original plot quashed by the main office in New York? Insights appreciated...
