It’s basically a Battle Royale with DC characters and there’s a special one-shot with crossover characters like Sam and Homelander.

D.C likes battle torn look of Superman. I don't think the cover id any indication of how the fight is gonna go.

Oh NOW I can see it! The face is perfect, but the colors are all wrong, that's why I didn't recognize him.

Yeah, like. Okay, maybe the rules of the merger say they're on equivalent levels of power, but even then Superman routinely fights people way above his on-paper weight class (mostly because no one else can) and even when he doesn't he regularly spars with people who can give him an actual fight.

Homelander's an overpowered two-bit bully who's never had an actual challenge in his life.

The only explanation I can think of is that Clark tried talking first (because he's Clark) and Homes just went all-out from the get-go while Clark still tried to convince him to sit the fuck down for a minute.

Why are Vampirella and Diana fighting in the first place? Neither of them is the kind to punch first and ask questions later and I very much doubt they'd have any conflict they couldn't talk out.
