Also...like, "Sins of Sinister" was barely 2 years ago and ended on both Xavier The Living Planet and Sinister burning up mutants to empower himself. It makes Doug's masterstroke seem less like a warped product of his own brain and more like the Carcinisation of Mutant development - "sooner or later, a student of Apocalypse tries turning themselves into a big hivemind thing. No-one knows why, least of all Apocalypse."
It's also been noted on Bleeding Cool that in the Age of Revelation, Magneto seemingly never lost his powers and became disabled, suggesting it diverged much further back than Doug joining the X-Men.
All things considered, I am annoyed by this ending. Three months worth of minis which barely connected to the main story, and in the end it all gets wiped away by Planet Doug. The heroes accomplished nothing to affect the overall narrative except to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
And it's all just a set up for future "now" storylines, apparently.
Oh, and the return of the Evil Krakoan Beast.
If this had just been a storyline in the main X-Men title, maybe it wouldn't have felt so much like everyone had to kill time and play along. Some of the minis were really good, but it leaves a sour taste to have them go from happy ending (or "ending for now") to "we are all Planet Doug."

I expected more of a resolution.
