This guy really needs to be something special if he's going to be a threat to both Venom and Spider-man. Is he wearing a costume or is that a symbiote? He clearly has a connection to Knull. He's got a spiral and Knull's symbol on him.

...I REALLY want Carnage to wear the suits and hat still.

He's not a symbiote but "something much, much worse". And apparently the way Carnage made Venom not look as bad when he debuted this guy will do the same for Carnage (according to Nick Lowe at least).

That doesn't sound promising. Carnage has always been edgy enough. How much worse could this guy be?

He's a serial killer who kills your entire extended family, "spiraling in" until he gets you. Or maybe he just murders everyone with your last name. And he does so creatively. Or ironically.

He's your worst nightmare: a predator with access to Ancestry.com.

Sorry, I can never take those claims seriously. Most of the times such characters fade into the, totally justified, limbo of obscurity.

I think it's unclear if Torment knows MJ is Venom's host, or if Carnage just went "include Mary Jane Watson in your loop of death."

Aunt Anna and sister Gayle and cousin Kristy are screwed, aren't they.

Gayle and Kristy are probably safe, Kristy especially given a writer would have to remember she existed first (although... Ewing...).

But yeah, not looking good for poor Anna.
It's like she's getting all the karmic backlash Animated Anna deserves or something.

I like the aesthetic choice of the spiral being sort of carved into his body like a cut out. Whether he will actually be a cool villain remains to be seen. This storyline has a lot to juggle.
