-Proctor- Oooh, Camp made a reference to the forbidden years of the Avengers! Hiss!
This is one of those situations where we get one question (in this case, "we know what's happened to Roberto, but what about the other New Mutants?") answered, just that it's not a good answer. Oh, Sam...
Still not sure if the "Beyond" means they're the Beyond Corporation, or it's just a generic usage of the word like "and the rest!" Seems like Evil Reed wouldn't like Beyonders puttering about the universe he's laid claim to.
(ooh, but the end of this issue was satisfying. Not a fan of That Character and their over-usage in mainstream comics, but here... heh.)
Sam here seems like an intentional follow-up to the earlier use of John Walker.
It's easy to accept circumstances would turn John into the Red Skull's idiot goon - 616!John thought ' I agree with the Watchdogs. ' He's a fictional American you make reductive " Where was he on January 6th? " jokes about.
Sam " aw shucks " Guthrie, though? Many of the readers who'd go " 100% correct " about evil John would have a " No, he'd never- " moment about a Sam who calls Luke Cage " boy " (and worse), before they accepted that a " Sam Guthrie " is no less immune to becoming something like this than a " John Walker " is to becoming something like that.
None of the images in shakalooloo's recent posts load for me, and if I clink on the links I just get sent to the image host's main page. Is it only me?
