I like the idea of Prime basically treating them as fictional characters because he’s meta-aware…

…if only it wasn’t already a done thing courtesy of Gwenpool, Deadpool, Ambush Bug…

Heck, even the Flash of Two Worlds had Barry knowing all about Jay from comic books.

But it’s still an interesting twist and at least Prime knows he has a huge uphill battle to redeem himself after his villain arc(s). Damnit, I’m rooting for him to not fuck it up this time. (I mean… did anyone -really- like Pantha or Risk’s arm? lol)

With Prime I'm enjoying it more, because with his past it all has an air of danger. It feels like a mental illness where he thinks he's the only real person in a fictional world.
