Okay, I am confuse of which Rasputin has it worse? Colossus is in a depression, which isn't too surprising with the X-Men and all; while Illyana seems to be in denial, you can't really just forget people just like that lady...

People react to grief in different ways, and sometimes the moment when a family is really supposed to come together, everyone different reactions to grief makes the family fall apart. It's a shame seeing it happen to Piotr and Illyana, but sadly, it happens.

While I see Illyana's point, the only problems I see with Colossus building a memorial to fallen X-Men are 1) That's way too small and 2) He's just gonna have to erase half of them next week.

The Jean thing is bone of contention for me. Endsong had Jean, in a ressurected body, flying off to go look for her pieces with the Phoenix in space. Yet everyone still talks about Jean as if she were dead, which she sorta isn't. If Endsong was out of continuity, this would be fine, but Warsong is referenced in continuity and it builds off Endsong so BLAGH!


I just wanna know Jean's exact status. :(

It's a wonderful monument to all their fallen friends. Doing something creative with your grief is a wonderful way of handling it. I hope making that helped lessen the pain for Piotr.

Kitty had much the same conversation with Piotr in Ellis Excalibur run, it worked better there.
