More so, when Anne jokingly says she should let Louis sleep with Marie, then he'd do nothing but attend to her desires, Louvois takes her seriously and tells her not to let her "old habits" get the upper hand, and think nothing of controlling the King. So clearly she's been at this espionage game for a long while.

You don't see a lot of Anne in volume 1, but she impresses me all the same.
