Batman Black & White: Blackout Motion Comic

Heh!

retro_nouveau wanted to see more of this Golden Age bat/cat Blackout story from Batman Black and White. I was all set to post till I found out that WB's made the whole TPB into 20 episodes of motion comics. Copy this link to a browser for the Blackout episode:

Apparently, the motion comic is only viewable by those in the US, so I'm including two scans from the story, which is set in 1943 during WWII. Gotham City is in a state of total blackout, which provides the perfect opportunity for our favorite cat burglar...





Farblungedt? I tried googling this word and came up with nothing. Anyway, she dives down a laundry chute and Batman gets frustrated because he can't fit in it. He chases her anyway.



So Albion's the guy that owns the apartment that Selina's burgling and he's not all he seems to be...

Thanks for these, by the way. I watched a quite a few of them, they were great for me -- retro loves the noir. If I was allowed to be picky where Blackout was concerned, I would have to say that Selina's voice was kind of youthful, perky, spunky, I prefer a mature and sultry woman's voice and no one will ever be better than Adrienne Barbeau. But maybe 1943 is when the kids just started out in this universe.

Oops, forgot to add that I found a different spelling for "farblungedt" in a Three Stooges discussion site, it was apparently once in one of their movies. "In yiddish, "farblongent" basically means 'lost, bewildered or confused'." Next time, Selina should just come up with another fourth F-word. :D

Glad you liked the other episodes. Haven't gone through them all yet. And yes, her voice is a tad girlish here -- those were their younger days I suppose.
