Okay, here is my counterargument to my learned friend benicio127 's intriguing, if IMHO slightly flawed, supposition that Jason Todd has better thighs than Dick Grayson.

Whilst I am the last person to deny the intrinsic beauty of any of the Robin's, I simply can't let a claim like that stand! :)

For the sake of fairness, I've limited myself to images from published comics (so no commissions, with two exceptions I'll mention as we go along) or licensing art, which DC acknowledge as being "real".

So in the words of the lad himself, in a fine example of my point...




We start with the George Perez entries

First the "Dick Grayson exercising in shortpants" section... two magnificent examples of muscular definition as art-form



Not much in the way of thighs in that last shot perhaps, but we see in the smaller background images that his exercise regime certainly includes a gruelling workout for them....

And to highlight, in colour... Robin, the Bulge Wonder!



In retrospect Donna's comments seems slightly prophetic, but there you go...

And to briefly summarise his thigh-ular (I'm sure there's a better word than that) flexibility, this little moment.



There are two exceptions I'm making to the "No Commissions" rule, because A) they are by George Perez, arguably the man who did more to make Dick look good than almost anyone, B) They highlight Dick's physique and C) They're just plain gorgeous.

And a great big slice of Jose-Luis Garcia-Lopez, who draws amongst the best thighs in the Teen Wonders notable history!







I'm not sure it's healthy to envy a motorcycle, but that first image on the page... WOOF! :)

I dunno, methinks Dick's got long lean legs, which aren't bad, but Jason's seems to consistently been drawn with meaty legs. He just comes off as more brawn bulky muscle than Dick (who's got an acrobat's leaner muscle).

As his style developed in NTT, Perez definitely gave Dick as Robin more corded, muscular legs than anyone had before. He got a little sleeker again was Nightwing, but the muscle definition was there.

Oh, and this debate is definitely a case of different strokes for different folks (Icon_UK drifts off in a happy reverie at the though to stroking the thighs in question)
