Here we have Dark Claw Adventures #1, by Ty Templeton.


He's quite glad that they're cyborgs because it allows him to let loose with the violence.

The person behind the ninjas is his old flame, Lady Talia, who wants revenge because Dark Claw killed her father, which, as the editor's note helpfully points out, happened in the TV episode Legacy of Apocalypse. (Hah! As if Standards and Practices would really have let the hero kill someone.)


They call the HQ the Burrow here, but in the Legends of the Dark Claw comic

Or it could have just been a mistake.
Anyway, Dark Claw trains against Life Model Decoys of his rogues gallery in the Danger Cave, while Sparrow chews gum and snarks. The rogues roster: The Two-Faced Goblin, Cybercroc, Bloodcrow, Hyena, Spiral Harley, the Omega Beast.

Code words: "My parents are dead, bub." (Not really.)


The blow's meant to kill him, but there's that healing factor.
