Comics Alliance has put up what I think is a pretty accurate (and funny) 60 second overview of Blackest Night. My favorite is Wonder Woman.

And for legality, Wonder Woman and her "crush" in the Hiketeia

When Batman stupidly puts his team-mates in mortal danger for no real reason over something that sorts itself out anyway, it's so much worse when Diana stupidly puts her team-mates in mortal danger for no real reason over something that sorts itself out anyway.

Date: 2010-04-10 09:53 am (UTC)Uh, no? The Oracle predicts that all who fight the dragon will die.
And, indeed, all who fight the dragon die.
Diana ensured that all the others did not fight the dragon and did not die.
The discussion between Diana and Bruce centres around their conflicting beliefs - Diana believes the Oracle at Delphae is never wrong in its predictions, Bruce believes it's so much mumbo-jumbo. Similar to the talk in Hiketeia, where Bruce doesn't really believe that Diana's beliefs and traditions are relevant.
