I actually haven't read Dark Wolverine and based on what you've written I'm counting my blessings. Which is probably why I'm not completely in the fail camp with him.
Like I said, I think Bendis handles him far better than what you've described about Way and Liu.
And for me, I do perceive Daken as a male Poison Ivy which is why he's given me more than a few HELL YEAH moments in New and Dark Avengers. Especially considering that queer males are always written as weak and powerless. So to see one of us fucking up cis-gendered heterosexual prominent male characters (and sending the proverbial middle finger to the establishment), as a queer male comic book fan it was refreshing for me and that's why I included him.
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
