Justy #1 "The Tears of Astaris, Part One"

Tonight and in the near future, I am pleased to present something of a rarity.

"Cosmo Police Justy" by Tsuguo Okazaki was a four-volume manga series about a powerful esper who worked for a galactic peace-keeping organization. It spawned a direct-to-video anime adaptation that did well with American anime fans, so there was a demand for the manga, and it was one of the first series brought over by Viz Comics once they went independent.
Now, back in 1988, when this was published, Viz had a somewhat...contentious relationship with the anime/manga fan community. Their attitude seemed to be that the hardcore manga fans would buy the product regardless of the presentation, so the people who had to be induced to fork over their cash were the mainstream comic book buyers. Thus the product was released in pamphlet form, read left to right, and the more "Japanese" idioms ruthlessly excised in an effort to make the translation read as though it had been written in English to begin with. And in the case of "Cosmo Police Justy," if there were two equally valid romanizations of a name, and the fandom had picked one, Viz used the other one. Every time. This slap in the face did not go unnoticed.
( But now, the story, 10 pages of 30 )

There's only one image so I am not sure how that fits in under the rules.
Aside from that........I feel this is what means Galactus will *always* own Thanos.
