In the comments to these weekly posts (and only these posts), it's your chance to go as off topic as you like. Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat among yourselves.
So the UK is now in full on pre-Christmas, Election mode.... Wheee, what fun! (or should that be "?")
Cue massive promises from all sides and sudden reversals of long standing austerity policies to win voters over, alliances, betrayals and secrecty. Nigel Farage, leader of the Brexit Party has decided NOT to stand as an MP, which is an unusual step, but since he's not been able to become an MP, despite seven different attempts, you can sort of see why.
To the disappointment of all, and the surprise of none, the UK Givernment has refused to publish a document investigating the extent of Russian interference in previous elections, despite being signed off by everyone EXCEPT 10 Downing Street. Nope, not suspicious at all.
Impeachment proceedings against POTUS 45 are ontinuing, though I've not been paying attention.
Oh, and a reminder to American folks that the sign-up period for the Afforable Care Act (ACA) for 2020 is from 1st November until December 15th. Don't expect any reminders from your current administration about it.
South Africa beat England in a big pointy-ended-sportsball title at the weekend in what I am reliably assured by those who know about such things, a thoroughly enjoyable game.
The CW seems to have got itself into a little Crisis of it's own. Currently, the five-part "Crisis on Infintie Earths" event across Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman, is set to end with a Batwoman episode. The problem there being that Batwoman has not been allowed to be bought by any foreign distributors, it is only legally accessible by their own dedicated Streaming Service. So foreign channels who broadcast all the other the CW shows can show the first four parts of CoIE... but have no right to show the finale! (Sky at least are attempting to get permission to show just that one episode, but a lot of distributors are NOT happy.
HBO have announced a Green Lantern TV series, which seems a brave move.
On the plus side, She-Ra Season 4 drops today! :D
Feeling a little under the weather today, so will leave this short and sweet (and with a dearth of links, but I know you can get those yourself if you're interested.
