"I always feel like everybody's flinching a little bit when it comes to that they're doing something with Wally West. I just want to assure fans that as long as I'm writing Wally West, we're going to have fun adventures." - Jeremy Adams

In the comments to these weekly posts (and only these posts), it's your chance to go as off topic as you like. Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat among yourselves.

The intent of these posts is to chat and have some fun and, sure, vent a little as required. Reasoned debate is fine, as always, but if you have to ask if something is going over the line, think carefully before posting please.

Normal board rules about conduct and behaviour still apply, of course.

The world political stage is whirling as per usual, but if you're in the mood for either some "What the actual hell?" or (even more cynically) "This is prime headline distraction fodder" you can check out Boris Johnson's bizarre ramblings about Peppa Pig World which would be cringe inducing if he was using at a school speech, but was actually addressing the council of British indusries, perhaps the most powerful business body in the UK.

On to more realistic situations: He-Man Revelations Part 2 drops today, prepare to hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth from old school fans whose childhoods have been ruined, if you care to listen for such things.

Doctor Who: Flux Part 4 gave us the absolute creepiest Weeping Angels story we've had pretty much ever.

Discovery Season 4 arrived in the US, if nowhere else until next year (Unless you, you know... "Yo-ho-ho!") and proved to be a strong statement, though it now seems a much more... ordinary Star Trek show, which isn't a bad thing, but given how it went out of it's way to be different for the first seasons, it felt weirldy unexpected.
