In the comments to these weekly posts (and only these posts), it's your chance to go as off topic as you like.

Talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and just generally chat among yourselves.

The intent of these posts is to chat and have some fun and, sure, vent a little as required. Reasoned debate is fine, as always, but if you have to ask if something is going over the line, think carefully before posting please.

Normal board rules about conduct and behaviour still apply, of course.

It's been suggested that, if discussing spoilers for recent media events, it might be advisable to consider using the rot13 method to prevent other members seeing spoilers in passing.

The world situation is the world situation. If you're following the news, you know it as much as I do, if you're not, then there are better sources than me.

The British political scene remains an unedifying as ever, though we did get a smile out of this. Though the language makes it more worthy of a link rather than a quote, it's hard to top the simplicity of NewsThump's (a satirical website, though it's a tough job to stay ahead of the satire curve these days) summary of our former PM and serial liar Boris Johnson's new career

The Babylon 5 Animated movie trailer is here and I remain cautiously optimistic!

What I think are the opening titles for Sailor Moon Crysyal: Cosmos are revealed, and they've gone back to teh classic Moonlight Densetsu (Though that might just be for this clip I suppose)

Mitch's idea was to do a thing where Jack, the son of Mister Miracle, would be babysit by Jon and Damian, and we would do like a little fun story of them as babysitters of Jack. Which was a wonderful idea Mitch had, and somehow that kind of buried in my head and I was like, 'That sounds like a book my kids would read.' It'd be fun, but I was like, 'It's the son of Batman and the son of Superman and they're babysitting the son of... Mister Miracle?' I was like, 'It should be the daughter of Wonder Woman.'
