In some ways it puts me in mind of Dreamworks' "The Prince of Egypt".
It's actually very strange to think that such a carefully-constructed, expertly told tale of revenge and myth and life and death and so on...occured in the same wacky Batman universe of crazy themed villians and giant typewriters and so on.
I don't know why this story should remain out of print, as one would think the original of Ra's would be of interest. As it is, it's been damn well impossible trying to find an affordable old copy.
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
