Excuse me, I am a huge indie comic snob, and have been mad about comics since I was about 4, and I absolutely adore Scott Pilgrim. Represent! It's unfortunate that the series has been over-exposed, often as a way to get people who "don't like comics" to read comics, but it really is a solid series that has a lot of fans from inside the comic world.

I'm not saying it's bad. I'm just... I dunno. I never really considered it indie.

Well, I guess indie is a pretty subjective term. But I think you will find a lot of Scott Pilgrim fans among fans of all the other comic genres, that's all.
