Heh, I could see that *g* I think Shade could also become great friends with Delirium, considering the way his shadow stuff sometimes looks. He's the sort of character that would have fit very naturally into the Sandman series. (I wonder if someone has written a fic in which Shade encounters all the Endless? Endless-fic is almost a fandom trope, after all.)
I know this whole thing was about Opal's Very Own Shade, but somehow when Delirium was mentioned my brain instantly went to the other Shade. Those two are probably next door neighbors.
Some people think so. Something J'onn has been tracking got to her an kicked her ass off panel. They havn't actually said she's dead, and her sapeshifting pwers are still going, which I understand does not happen in dead martians. Some people are just assuming the worst.
Anyway--I did find it ironic that she "dies" in Brightest Day, and her other appearence in JSA has her on the first page saying that "she will soon die." We find out later she's being a medium for Starman to talk to the League, but still--irony.
1) She always has been. Sandman crossed over with Superhero DCU several times. 2) No, no, no. Neil Gaiman gave specific permission for Paul Cornell to use Death specifically once in one specific story. That does not mean Death is gonna be popping up in every book that wants to use her.
