I kinda love him for that though. Most crazyness today is of the asshole or bigot variety, so it's refreshing to see some genuine batshit crazy every now and then. In a world of Mormon street preachers, Neal Adams is the homeless guy shouting at the moon.
Honestly, I think as long as their opinions, political or religious aren't shoehorned into their work where it likely doesn't belong, does it really matter?
I can't enjoy Adams' art anymore because I hate his inks. If only Giordando were still alive, or they hired some brilliant inker like Nowlan, Sienkiewicz, or Garcia-Lopez.
His crazy batshit ideas are part of his fun, really. As others have said here, there's far, far worse crazy to believe in.
