Bill & Kelda Mega-Post! (The Wonderful OTP From Thor!)

Greetings True Believers! Colonel Green great post about the latest development in the Bill and Kelda relationship. For those not in the know, when Asgard relocated to the great state of Oklahoma the locals and the Asgardians had many funny and wonderful encounters. But the best of them all was when the owner of the local diner met an Asgardian goddess.....

We first meet Bill in issue 2.





Then in issue 6 Bill's recounting a late night stroll of his....

Ok, those last few lines are hokey, cliche and naive. They are also absolutely beautiful.

Next in issue 9, Bill works up his courage and goes to visit Kelda in Asgard.




Why do I get the feeling that the Asgardian translation of "Kelda" is "My milkshake brings all the boys to the floor."?













And in issue 10, Bill thinks about his visit, his chances and gets some sage advice.











I enjoy this couple sooo much! I really hope they don't disappear into the MU void.

I always thought that people were reading into that Keeeeeeelllllllddaaaaaa!" a bit too much by equating it to her being promiscuous. It seemed to me that they were just shocked that she had invited a mortal up to Asgard, as the entire conversation that follows between her and Bill is about the culture shock.

Look at it this way: if Kelda's into the mortal guys from Midgard and takes up with a new one every 40 years or so after the previous one passes away, how might that be regarded by nearly immortal Asgardians that form relationships lasting centuries among themselves? She could be looked upon as her society's Tila Tequila and still have perfectly sincere intentions toward Bill.
