The whole Incredible Hercules run has had a variety of artists, but for this we have the return of Khoi Pham, which is kind of fitting, since he did the first arc. And the previews of his art in this look really good.



And now we have a lettered preview of issue #1. Shit's goin' down!

More like rip-off. I'm pretty sure this was Morrison's plot for the JLA back in the 90's.

A god giving extra power to heroes is hardly something Morrison came up with (and that wasn't what happened in that story, either; it was temporarily evolving everyone on Earth).

The imagery of people who normally can't fly being lifted off the ground, imbued by the powers of a god, to go fight an ancient god-killing evil god is strikingly similar, though. I mean...

The difference is that one is the climax of a story, and the other is meant to simply carry the heroes from point A to point B.

Other likely differences is that they won't be Superman level and, oh yeah, we know all of the empowered ;)

Fuck you know what? They could put out a comic every fucking week where a bunch of normally ordinarily powered people are imbued with cosmic might in order to wage war against a chaos god of evil, and I would buy the fuck out of it, and it would be fantastic.
