Only two issues until the big 1-0-0. Changes are a-coming to the Fabletown government...

I guess the question is, does she really believes Boy Blue is coming back, or is she practicing the time-honored tradition of using religion as a political tool.

A question for those who read the full issue: Are we supposed to recognize that "Joe" guy in Rose Red's line of complainants, the one who guards the money room?

That cover is mad bananas. Really impossible to categorize. Absolutely brilliant.

I am so behind on this series...

Is that...Frau Totenkinder? It's been a while since 've seen her, but I'm guessing that it is her.

And I always love Fable covers, this one is no exception.

I'm pretty sure it is here, although I have not read this one yet.

I was going to say "It says so right on that page!" but I hadn't noticed that the page had been cropped so that it removed that bit of dialogue.

Ya, I read this issue last night and was wondering if the cut was intentionally clever now.

I love super competent Rose! There's a reason why she ran the Farm so well before her nervous breakdown.

Not that I recognize. It sounds like he's just a second generation Fable from the Society of Seconds: descendants of Fables who were called from their normal lives out in the Mundy to help with the War and then wanted a piece of the newly unoccupied land. I could be wrong, though.

Issue 100 is going to be EPIC. The series veered of track a bit since issue 75 (mainly just the Crossover with Jack of Fables and a poorly placed story focusing on Haven) but for the most part it's all been building up and building upon some really great ideas leading up to November's 100th issue.

I gotta know.

The post a few weeks back about how Ozma and Dorothy were practically joined at the hip in the Oz books made me wonder; has there been anything said about what happened to Dorothy? Was she one of the casualties from the Adversary, or has she just not been mentioned yet?

She showed up in Jack of the Fables, I think...

Hmmm... if Dorothy's a girl from Kansas, could she be a Mundy? In which case, she might be long dead. If she's a Fable, then she's likely from Americana, which was unconquered by the Adversary.

Except that in the books, Dorothy moved in and lived in Oz full time. Which means that she should have been in Oz when the Adversary attacked.

Has it not been mentioned yet?

Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Cowardly Lion showed up in Jack of Fables. They were being held captive in Golden Boughs, a compound for Fables that were captured by evil Librarians.

I don't read Jack of Fables, but the last that was seen of the Oz crew was they were with the rest of the escaped Fables from Golden Boughs.

So after reading this last night, I don't get who the wizard is that Frau is relying on for her info. Was he in Fables before? I could not recall him at all.
