1. Kanji's sexuality is a pretty disputed topic in the game and the games developers. He's hinted (not so subtly sometimes) at being gay but the creators have said that he may be dealing with confusion of his sexual identity and he may not actually be gay. You can actually make your own conclusion about it but it's really never given a concrete answer.

2. Youske's awkwardness with Kanji's sexuality is really just a general problem with Youske being awkward and totally without any sort of manners or tact.

3. The final joke about the recipe is a play on the cooking minigame you play. They give you some pretty obscure Japanese dishes and ingredients to combine, so unless you have knowledge of Japanese cuisine you're shit outta luck.




1. Again, Youske really really has comfort issues with Kanji's possible homosexuality. Also, he still has no tact at all.

1. Yeah, he really does look for porn in your room in the game. And you can buy and read really weird and awful anime comics.



1. Rise's boss and dungeon are the single most awkward things in the world to be caught playing by a friend or loved one.

2. Teddy's transformation is straight up one of the creepiest moments in any game because his voice actor is fucking creepy.

I know hiimdaisy's busy, and this isn't really a central project for her, but I wish she would fucking finish this already. It's been five goddamn months.

It is indeed extremely hard to explain to a loved one that the satellite-headed psychedelic stripper is a representation of the subconscious mind of a teen pop star. And the flattened Teddie is CREEPY AS SHIT OH GOD WHY AGH MAKE IT STOP WOBBLING

and then boss-teddie is even creepier, because it is increasingly clearly some... thing that is wearing teddie's body as a shell oh god why

Godddd I love these comics! Peachifruit's comedic timing is genius, on top of the magically hilarious way she uses video game tropes/storytelling things like the omnipresent obnoxious narrator. I have never played this game but I am secure in my believe that this comic is better than the game could ever actually be in reality. :D

The fandubs for these on youtube are perfect. I now read all these comics with those voices and sound effects.
