Been busy lately with work (you graduate, and suddenly you're expected to have a job), so I haven't done this in a while; but, four scans from Captain America #611.
 

This is the beginning of "The Trial of Captain America", the aftermath of Bucky's past being revealed by Baron Zemo in the "No Escape" arc.  Predictably, the media is sensationalizing everything.

The National Security Council and the President basically accept Steve's version of events, but the public is a different consideration (particularly because of the Philadelphia bombing):




Not til after the midterms, Steve.

Steve goes to talk with Bucky, who's spent the evening breaking up another neo-Nazi gathering (with papers promoting that "The Master is Coming").




So the trial is on.

Are we agreed that Mark Gruenwald is spinning in his grave causing thousands of copies of Squadron Supreme to flutter weakly in outrage?

Cap might refuse an order. He would never be rude. Especially not with a president who was trying to work with him.

To be fair, Steve has a LOT of issues re: Bucky. I can see him being less than perfectly placid and polite.
