That last image in the preview is AWESOME! It's every heavy metal album cover ever made, boiled down, distilled and turned into the essence of what every heavy metal album cover has longed to be!

I hate the Marvel way. They never let women do anything.

Hela is the team leader for one entire side, if you want to try and tell her she can't do anything, you're braver than I could ever hope to be.

Maybe they're like Pratchett's dwarves, where the females are as hirsute as the males (including beards and moustaches), and courtship involves the long and complex process of indirectly, and as subtly as possible, ascertaining what gender the person you are interested in actually IS.

Haha I've never had one drip of interest in Mr. Pratchett's work until now.

Start with Guards! Guards!, followed by Men At Arms. Or Wyrd Sisters. Those are very good starting places for the Discworld series.

There are variations to her look, butI am grateful over the DECADES Hela has never goneout of style.

She always looks radiant in that head dress.

Well, yes, the headpiece makes that fairly clear (if Thor's costume already didn't), but my point stands.

To be honest I'm not sure what your point is here.

She's wearing green leather body armour with Asgard accessories from Kirby Kouture, just as she has done for nearly 50 years. In story, she wears it to mask the fact that half her body is a rotting corpse (In Norse myth it was from the waist down, in MU myth, she's split bi-laterally)

She's a goddess, and a death goddess at that. Given what Circe tends to wander around in, I fail to see why Hela's choice of garb is particularly odd.

Where is she? I don't like having to play "Where's Waldo" just to find the lady.

Seen on the last page of the preview, she's the one in the green bodysuit, leading the charge of the bad guys whilst riding the SODDING ENORMOUS ZOMBIE DRAGON!

As the Norse goddess of death and undisputed queen of Niffelheim and Hel Hela has been an established badass in the MU since 1964.

Cap always gets the girl. I'm pretty sure that no matter how much of a player Tony is, just about any girl in the Marvel Universe would choose Cap over him.

Different writer, so doesn't count..In Bendis's eyes anyway, since he doesn't seem to care all that much about any character continuity outside of his own..(And even there, his record is patchy! LOL!)

But yeah that is some lovely Alan Davis art. I just wish they'd found a writer of equal imaginative talent to match his superb work. I just don't feel like Bendis manages to nail the voices of these three. (Especially Thor..)

Still this is probably the closest he's came to getting them, and certainly it's the most fun thing he's written in quite some time..
